Dan Lieberman, a SR correspondent from Now This, visits Humboldt State University – one of the most affected schools by homelessness in California. He speaks to some students who are currently homeless, without having any support from the college or their parents there is no way they can afford an apartment to live in, and the only option is to sleep in their cars in the parking lots.

California has a housing crisis due to such unaffordable prices, and this combined with the rising costs of college degrees has led to an estimate of 50,000 students throughout the system being homeless at California State University.
